NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH REPORT OLD BOLINGBROKE 30th January 2020.

Since our last Parish Council meeting in November and after the three house
break-ins it has remained fairly quiet in our village.

No Cold Calling.

We had a gentleman cold calling selling double glazing in our village.
He was told that we were a No Cold Calling Village and was sent politely on his way. Please under no circmnstance employ people from the door step.
This scheme was set up to safeguard our village from unscrupulous people.

Runners and dog walkers.

I have been contacted by a couple of concerned villagers about the safety of runners and dog walkers in the village m the dark.
For your own safety can you please wear some form of high viz attire maybe arm bands or a tabard so that you are more visible to drivers at night. You can also buy tabards for your dogs.
It has also been reported that some motorists are driving too fast and too near pedestrians through our village during the day time causing our runners and dog walkers to have to jump out of the way onto our grass verges from oncoming fast traffic.
Please slow down.

Unfortunately we have had some signage on private property pulled up and damaged. Our PCSO is aware of this situation. If anyone sees anyone acting suspiciously please ring it in on a 101.
