Medieval Re-Enactment comes to the village on 14th & 15th August
The event is planned for the weekend of 14/15 August 2021. The focus will be at the castle and its grounds, with the provision of displays and activities performed by the The Plantagenet Medieval Society and others. Due to Covid and some of the nervousness that still exists around it, the event will be focussed on demonstrations - with the usual contact and participation aspects reduced to a minimum.
Demonstrations will include, archery, armed combat, dancing, medieval blacksmithing and story-telling.
