Play Area

The Parish Council has spent the last 18 months raising money and securing equipment for a new play area.

The equipment has been installed (although still subject to handover and certification) and safety matting has been put down underneath the equipment. The matting allows the grass to grow through it and, over time, the grass will pull the matting down and make it blend seamlessly with the surrounding grass areas.

 A considerable amount of work, by a small volunteer group, was done to prepare the ground. It has been regularly cut and weeded (by hand) so that the new areas can be certified for use.
