Neighbourhood Watch Report January 2024.

 

In our village on Christmas morning at 9.45am a male approximately early twenties was captured on a cctv camera acting suspiciously looking at the new houses on Back Lane.

He was seen stopping outside the gates of one of the houses and seemed very interested in this particular property.

He was riding a racing style bike with drop handlebars.

The frame was white or light coloured.

It had a rack at the back and had a white saddle with black sides

The police have been made aware of this incident and they have been in touch with the property owner.

 

Surrounding Areas.

A man was arrested for being three times over the legal alcohol limit and will appear in court at the end of the month.

 

Burglars were seen in the gardens of two properties in East Keal.

They were seen on surveillance cameras and good images were obtained.

 

Reports of two males in a small white van going door to door in Horncastle.

There are concerns that they are not carrying out genuine work.

 

A man in his fifties suffered stab wounds in Horncastle.

 

Police patrols stopped a vehicle in Horncastle Town Centre.

The driver provided positive breath tests.

He has been charged and will appear before the Magistrates .

 

Two men aged 27 and  34 years have been arrested on suspicion of producing

Class B drugs after more than 1,000 plants were located in a warehouse in Horncastle.

 

A car was stopped in Horncastle area . The driver was prosecuted for no licence or insurance.

 

A driver in Horncastle was arrested for driving whilst under the influence of drugs.

 

A driver was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and possession of 

cocaine.

 

A burglary was reported from the Spilsby Jewellers .

It was reported that £2,400 worth of watches and jewellery were stolen.

 

A driver of a blue van was seen helping himself to items from properties in Spilsby without owners permission.

 

Three men were arrested for hare coursing. They had their vehicles seized .

They have been bailed with conditions not to enter Lincolnshire whilst enquiries 

continue.

 

A male driver was stopped and was found to have no insurance or a car licence .

His car was seized and he will be prosecuted.

 

The person illegally riding a motor cycle in Spilsby have been reported to court for 

five offences including no insurance , driving without due care and failing to stop

for the police.

 

Reports of an off road motorcycle being used in a illegal manner in the Spilsby

Area .

The driver has been identified and will be prosecuted for the driving offences.

immediately to give them a chance to get to the incident.
