Neighbourhood Watch Report July 2024
We have been relatively lucky since my last NHW report.
We have had a number of cold callers to our village in the last couple of months.
From people trying to sell tea and coffee , aerial photographs ,offering to do gardening, mend doors and windows and a scrap metal dealer and some were very persistent.
One of the villagers was concerned about the scrap metal dealer acting suspiciously and interested in her neighbours property.
I had a drive around the village but could not see any sign of a man or vehicle.
I have made our Neighbouring Policing Team aware .
We are a no cold calling village and we have signs up at the entrances to our village.
If you get any cold callers please politely send them on their way.
If the callers are from a company you can report them to Citizens Consumers Service 03454 040506 and they will contact Trading Standards.
