March 2024
Neighbourhood Watch Report March 2024.
Once again it’s been a fairly quiet time in our village .
We had one incident where two males wearing hoodies and grey jogging bottoms were captured on a ring doorbell camera stealing an alloy wheel off a driveway in Hagnaby Road.
There were other wheels stacked up on the driveway.
This incident happened at 6.43am when the ring doorbell alerted the villager that someone was on their property.
The villager went outside straight away and heard a vehicle drive off.
The police have been been made aware of this incident.
I advised the villager to remove the rest of the wheels off the driveway to a safer place.
A small pick up lorry with some lawnmowers on the back was seen in the vicinity at around this time by another villager who managed to get the last three letters of the registration number which is STX .
Please make sure your property is made secure at all times and safely stored away from the eyes of the would be criminals .
When our South Wold Neighbourhood Policing team came to Spilsby on a community visit last week I went along and spoke to them and they informed me that we are still getting regular drive throughs in our village from them.
